What this covers

This notice explains what personal data Weft collects through this website and our products, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It does not cover the measurement data our customers generate, which belongs to them and is governed by their agreement with us.

What we collect

When you contact us

  • Your name, work email, company and team.
  • Whatever you choose to write in the message field.

When you use this website

  • Standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested.
  • Aggregate usage measurement. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data.

When you use the product

  • Account details for the people your organisation authorises.
  • Records of who took a reading and when, because an evidence trail is worthless without them.

Why we hold it

To reply to enquiries, to provide and secure the product, to meet legal obligations, and to understand which parts of this site are useful. We do not use enquiry data to build marketing profiles.

Who sees it

Weft staff who need it for the purpose it was collected. We use a small number of processors for hosting, email and support tooling; each is bound by contract to handle data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records for up to twenty-four months unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Product records for the life of the customer agreement and any period we are required to retain them afterwards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Write to privacy@weft.co and we will respond within thirty days.

Transfers

We may process data outside your country. Where we do, we rely on recognised safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, and can supply the detail on request.

Cookies

This site uses only what it needs to function and to count visits in aggregate. No advertising cookies are set. Your browser settings can block cookies without breaking the site.

Changes

If we change this notice materially, we will update the date above and, where the change affects you directly, tell you.
