Consumer health and transparency platforms
Add object-level composition evidence beneath independent education, scoring and product guidance. Keep your own methodology; use Weft as a new source with provenance.

Weft is most valuable when a measurement becomes useful somewhere else: inside a consumer health experience, a scientific study, a laboratory workflow, a product system or a circular supply chain.
The invitation
We are not looking for a logo wall. We are looking for teams with a hard question about what clothing contains, why that matters, and what evidence would make the answer trustworthy.
Add object-level composition evidence beneath independent education, scoring and product guidance. Keep your own methodology; use Weft as a new source with provenance.
Explore this pathConstruct controlled garment sets, preserve chain of custody and compare declarations, physical readings and laboratory results without collapsing them into one claim.
Receive better-qualified samples with the screening context already attached, then return confirmation into the same evidence record.
Create the repeatable material sets needed to test verification workflows, consumer explanations and supplier controls in a bounded environment.
Measure garments whose labels are absent or unreliable, then use the result for listings, routing, grading or feedstock decisions.
Connect physical evidence to PLM, product passports, compliance records or new interfaces through a schema built around source separation and uncertainty.
Consumer health collaboration
A consumer-facing platform may already combine scientific literature, product disclosures, certifications and regulatory information. Weft should not control how that platform interprets those inputs.
The partnership opportunity is narrower and more powerful: introduce verified physical-composition evidence for a controlled set of garments, expose the provenance, and let the partner's independent methodology determine how the new evidence changes the user experience.
The partner owns its scoring, editorial standards and consumer language.
Weft supplies measurements from the actual garment or controlled sample.
Users or auditors can see the source, confidence and unresolved questions.
Laboratory confirmation is directed toward conflicts and high-value unknowns.
Pilot architecture
A useful collaboration is not “explore synergies.” It is a bounded evidence exercise with a decision at the end.
Choose one consumer, research or operational question. Example: can a platform distinguish declared natural-fibre garments from physically measured blends without overstating what the measurement proves?
Select a controlled group of garments or swatches with documented declarations, different constructions and enough variation to expose failure modes.
Capture Weft readings, preserve uncertainty, and send selected conflicts or blind samples for laboratory confirmation.
Design the downstream language or workflow around what is supported, what is inferred and what remains unknown.
Review accuracy, coverage, user comprehension, workflow burden and the value of the new evidence before expanding the category.
What a partner receives
Every pilot is designed to leave both sides with something inspectable, portable and useful even if the answer is “not ready.”
01
A controlled inventory of samples, declarations, construction notes and chain-of-custody events.
02
Object-level readings with confidence ranges, device metadata and explicit abstentions.
03
Confirmation results attached to the exact readings and claims that triggered them.
04
Fields that separate what can be stated, what can be inferred and what cannot be claimed.
05
A sandbox feed, interface mockup or workflow connection using the partner's real decision context.
06
A plain-language assessment of where the system worked, failed and deserves further investment.
Collaboration principles
These are product constraints, not marketing language.
Measurement access does not determine how an independent platform scores, ranks or describes a product.
A supplier document, a reader result and a lab report are linked, never blended into one source.
Composition evidence can support education and research. It does not diagnose a condition or directly detect trace chemistry.
Abstentions, weak categories and contradictory evidence are surfaced rather than hidden.

Who should reach out
Tell us the question, the decision it affects, the material access you have and what a convincing result would look like. We will respond with the smallest credible pilot architecture, including the reasons it might fail.
That is the right starting point for a Weft partnership.
